Password changes

September, 2025: Your password was NOT changed over the summer. It should be the password you used in June. If you need help, please see a teacher-librarian or your TA.

Your username is your student number.​
Your password is the same one you use to access Teams, e-mail, printing, etc. through the district.​

Using Phone or Tablet Apps 
You can use apps for Microsoft Teams, Word, One Drive, Powerpoint, etc.  You will need to sign out of any personal accounts (or accounts from other districts) before logging in on your SD42 account.

Using a Web Browser (on your handheld device or laptop) 
If connecting from a laptop, we recommend using Google Chrome.  The website is: me.sd42.ca 
 
Logging In 
Your username is [email protected] (Your student number is on your timetable) 
Your password is the same one you used to get onto wifi. Your TA can reset your password if you don't know it.
This username and password will work for wifi, printing, and Office 365.  Your password for MyClass is different. 


From the Office 356 home page, you should be able to click on Outlook (email), Teams, Word, PowerPoint, etc.  Your work will be saved in the cloud and can be accessed from any device.

Changing Your Office 365 Password 
You can change your password under “settings” in the web version.  Choose a password with a minimum of 8 characters.  Use at least three of the following in your password: an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number, and a symbol

Canuck123! 
3littlePIG$ 
If you forget your password, your teacher should be able to change it for you.  You can also visit the library for a password change.
